Rana Young (b. 1983, Missouri) is an artist and educator based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Rana holds an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln where she was an Othmer Fellow and a BFA in Studio Art from Portland State University. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, as well as published online by LensCulture, British Journal of Photography, Strange Fire Collective, iGNANT, C41 Magazine, and Aint-Bad Magazine, among others. Through her photographs, she investigates such concepts as loss, intimacy, identity, and voyeurism. Rana teaches art and photography courses at University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Creighton University (Omaha, NE), and Metropolitan Community College (Elkhorn, NE).
